Jesus said: “I am the Light of the World.”

Christmas is a special time in the Christian church calendar.
We encourage our neighbours to join us in worship for the ADVENT seasons, year upon year.
That wee child who was born in a barn in Bethlehem, that person who is God crammed into a tiny helpless human has come to visit us in an incredibly intentional way.
So many questions to ask about this move on God’s part.
Right?

There’s nothing wrong with a little light-hearted humour.
Even in church. We have been known to put together homemade drama, and carry it off fairly well (if we do say so ourselves).
Read about the wise men from the East in the Gospel of MATTHEW. And if you feel like it, you can read all 22, 642 words (NIV Bible) to get Matthew’s first-hand account of his personal friend, Jesus. Reading it might take 1 1/2 hours, or so; or half an hour on each day of three days.

The service starts at 10:00 AM, and ends around 11:00 / 11:15 AM - depending on the Sunday.
During church, we watch a short inspirational video on our big screen; our Praise Team leads us in singing contemporary songs mixed with hymns; there is a 15 to 20-minute sermon; we pray; then, we end our time by enjoying a hot drink and sweets in the cafe.
It’s so good to chat together, a privilege really, being in-person.
